Hi everyone,
I'm not new as such, I've been browsing on here for quite a while but haven't really plucked up the courage to introduce myself!
I'm Bee, and my OH deployed Saturday morning. I'm so gutted because I missed his call this morning and it's the first time I would have heard from him since he'd left!! Oh well, hopefully you lovely ladies might be able to give me some hints and tips on surviving this really emotional time, and even though this is my first experience with OH on tour, if I can help anyone out I certainly will :)

Well, I'm 26 and a teacher at a college, and OH is Tommy who's in in 2PARA. This is his second tour, we were just mates when he went on his first one. We have 3 Jack Russells- both of us love dogs, and live in Leighton Buzzard.

I have a jack russell too, hes still a bit mad at the age of 14years thou!!
What do you teach at college?
I never did a tour so cannot tell you but many have on here, and many going through one too! x
I teach Animal Management, which sounds grander than it is! It's mainly animal husbandry, biology, and teaching the students that any animal job in the world involves lots of cleaning! Most of them think they're going to be the latest Lion Man or Caesar Milan when they first start, but most of them soon realise that there's not much that's glamourous about the work, but it is rewarding.
As for Jack Russells, my last little dog was completely crazy until she died at 16 , and the current little pack are completely insane! I love them though, they're little but they think they're big, just like me!!!

Do you think?! I've just seen your from Bicester, we've been shopping there a few times and I thought it was fantastic! I suppose I take MK for granted, but it has got a lot of variety. If you're ever there again, I'm literally 10 minutes up the road, so would be nice to meet up if you fancied it x x x
