View Full Version : Officially a Fiancee!
Afternoon All,
As I'm sure a few of you are aware (having seen my FB), I am now engaged and a wife-to-be!!
We went out yesterday evening for dinner and drinks and at the end of our meal Jamie took me out onto the balcony, got down on one knee and proposed......needless to say I said yes and am over the moon :D
I can now tell you all that we will be getting married next year, hopefully around September time!
Just thought I'd share :)

Thanks- he's very pleased with it, he did it himself, we'd been to look at rings previously but this is nothing like what I'd seen or liked when we looked in the shops. This one has been basically designed by him, he chose the stone (shape, cut, clarity etc), the setting and all the rest.
I'm very pleased with it, he said he'd made and chose my dream ring and he was right! Simple, classic but completely unique as well :D

Lol - My fridge only ever looks healthy when Richie is away otherwise its crammed full of the rubbish he likes to eat.
I bet - I should imagine after the build up you just want the feeling to last too. Are you reliving it in your head at random moments then?

I keep trying to remember the actual proposal but it's a bit of a blur, I just saw him, one knee and the ring and me saying 'of course I will' lol.
No I think he's staying in Salisbury as he is going up to his Mum's at the weekend and it would be a lot fuel-wise to go to and fro, unless he changes his mind and comes home that is! I'm going to Glos next weekend anyway, I jusy wish his PAAB was Tues/Weds or something and he hadn't had to go straight away- oh well :o
I have a mini box of Lindt Lindor to have this evening so I'll be fine!

We're hoping next September but not gone much further than that- it will definitely be the latter part of 2011, can't do much for the moment as he's away for the next 10 days lol.
When he's on Xmas Leave we can hopefully start putting things in place, making decisions etc xx
