Anyone who is thinking of saying 'legs' or 'stocking fillers' let me stop you right there!
I always get the man a stocking but this year I'm stumped on what to put in it, last year I put sponge-bob guitar plectrums and socks with his name on (chortle!) and things but obviously don't want to do the same.
Does anybody else even bother with stockings? I really like them just a bit stuck for ideas this year.

my mum came rushing into the front room the other day and said to me and my stepdad "ive just bought stockings!!!!" she honestly didnt get why we were cracking up laughing, or why i looked slightly disgusted at her!
DAMN first thought was legs haha. Weve never done stockings...plus we dont have a fireplace in flat hehe i could pin a couple to the coffee table :/ Im stumped for ideas...an orange (dont know why thats sprung to my head is that even a xmas thing or halloween haha) coal lol then he'd worry xxxxx
yer we do stockings... i guess i havent grown up yet lol....ours are only small, but i have so far put in, his two favourite shampoos... no tears johnsons cheeky cherry,lol. deodrant, hair putty, and body wash in teh brand he likes,(fish) jelly beans and some other little sweets, socks, and boxers and will get a few other little bits too..xx
I LOVE stockings. Although I didn't have stockings so have done it in bags this year for hubby, mum, dad and sis.
I went to this website: www.findmeagift.com got lots of silly things for less than a fiver.

I do stockings too :) last year it was every christmas chocolate related thing i could possibly find :) and some little jokey stuff ..... I have no idea this year either :(
We dont do stockings for each other, just for the kids to keep them amused and away from the main presents downstairs til we're ready!, so cant really help much.
There are a few websites where you can buy silly little pressies. I know when I have made up boxes when hubbies been away at xmas I've just done the socks and boxers thing, sweets, chocs, smellies, sex cheques, racing wind up reindeer and lots of silly things. Hawkins bazaar sell lots of adult jokey pressies xx

In our stockings we just usually get chocolate but alot of my friends and family get little prezzies in theres like hair stuff, perfume, accesories for their phones etc xxxxxx
in OH's stocking last year, I put his fav chocs and sweeties, toiletries, bottle of rum, personalised calendar with pics of me and him, underwear :)
Thanks for all the ideas girls, it's nearly full now :) once I started buying little bits to put in it I couldn't stop! I found an ace 'balloon-hat making kit' in Paperchase that comes with a little pump lol and I stood chuckling at it in the shop for ages cause I can just picture how much fun he's going to have with it!

Lol I know! I just know I'm going to turn up on Christmas evening and his family are all going to be drunk, wearing balloon hats :rolleyes:
