Don't know if anyone comes in this part of the forum - I didn't even know it was here!
But anyway, I am here asking for help. It's OH's birthday next week and I want to bake him something - either cookies or cupcakes or muffins, something that I can decorate with icing or love hearts or something and then put in a nice presentation box.
What would be best?
And can anyone point me in the direction of a good recipe? I thought probably muffins, I can put icing on top and decorate them with something but I'm not sure yet ....

Oooooh as for packaging, get down to tour nearest florists and buy some of that cellophane stuff and some ribbon!!! For cheap Xmas pressies for the mil etc I made shortbread and made a really pretty little parcel with this clear cellophane stuff that had little White polka dots on that looked like snow, they were really impressed!! And the shortbread was nice too!! You could always pop them in a little wicker basket first if u were doing cupcakes, to give them a bit more space so they don't get squashed!! What a lovely idea for him though!!! Can u make me some cupcakes please Suzie?? X
