Hey everyone! :D
Its been almost a year since I last posted on here so thought I would re-introduce myself in the New members section.
Last time I posted I was only a couple of months off marrying my OH..... we're now happily married and we moved into our first MQ's in Wittering 9 months ago! It was so daunting at first and I had a few mini breakdowns but i'm slowly getting used to this way of life.

Aw, how lovely that you're married now - how do you find Wittering? I would die to be in that area as that's sort of near where I'm from - how would you fancy Lincolnshire instead? :D xxx
Wittering is ok i guess...... im just so glad that I drive coz there is absolutely nothing to do in the village and the closest town is stamford which is too far to walk to!
Hubby actually works in Lincolnshire.... he's at RAF Cottesmore. But coz he was up at Wittering first we didnt have to move MQ's. Not sure how much longer we're gonna be here for though.... coz he's a harrier engineer and they're no longer in service we're just waiting on his new posting coming through atm!
Where bouts are u based then hun?

Oooooh right - were you allowed to put any preferences in or is it a case of you'll have to go here or there?
OH has just been posted to RAF Coningsby and we're waiting on MQs.. Probably means I will have to stay here first for a while because housing people said they had 20+ applications to sift through and it's full. Could mean we get put at Digby or they'll be looking into private renting somewhere for us. :rolleyes: Apparently Coningsby is pretty overmanned right now, at least as far as squippers go!

Yeah OH has put Yeovil down for his 1st and 2nd preference so fingers crossed he gets one of them. His 3rd choice is Culdrose but we really dont want there as we'd be so far away from family..... it'd be about an 8 and a half hour drive!!!
One of my friends has just found out that they're posted to Coningsby...... its meant to be really nice there but shes been told the same about the housing situation.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya that you get housed quickly tho! :D
