Hi im Leanne 18 and ive been with my OH for 4 years and we have a gorgeous 15 month old daughter together. Well OH has been in army for nearly 4 years so im used to him being away but 2morrow is his first time in afghanistan and i dont know how to cope, i keep finding myself breaking down :( i dont want my daughter to see me upset but i really cant seem to control it. I hope talking to other people in my situation will help. Hope to chat soon

Welcome back :). I have been lucky with my OH not going to afghan yet so I can't directly relate. Are you worrying due to the danger and place or the length of time apart or a bit of both really?

Welcome back hun!!! Ur definateky in the right place. My oh is also due to leave us and my 7 year old and also our 11 day old baby in a matter of weeks until July!!! I also wander how I'm gonna cope. Buy we have done it before so will again!!
Just keep super busy and come on here for friendly chat and to vent. We will do our best to keep u occupied whilst he is away!! Try and keep positive forbid daughter buy once in bed have agood cry watch a chick flick, and chocolates will cheer u up!!!

Welcome hun :) There's no better place to be then here for any kind of help or chat or anything!!
No one says its going to be easy but you'll get through it and be so much stronger for it and before you know it he'll be back! Keep him updated with daughter with loads of pics and letters! Maybe put together/keep a book or something where you can write done bits that happen each day with pictures and give to him when he comes back next. Will be a nice keepsake for both of you too :)

I want to loose 4 stone in about 6 month, its just achievable and its a suprise for him coming home as i put on the weight when i was pregnant and never got round to losing it so i figured using his time away as my time limit will make it go quicker and also hell have a lovely new girlfriend when he comes back hehe :D xxxx
