This is an amazing story and it's true, it totally absorbs you and makes you feel like you know the characters and i think it is being turned into a film, would definitely recommend! lots of laughs and tears!
Its about 2 people who meet on the last day of uni and they have a friendship that spans nearly 20 years and each chapter is a year on and whats happening in their lives on that day

Ooh this does sound good actually! I just did that annoying thing though of looking on Amazon, seeing it had a few bad reviews and thinking 'Ohno, I bet it's rubbish...' despite there being hundreds of good reviews!
I'll buy it second hand off ebay I think :)
I took this as my holiday read this year and I thought it was really good :) def a good read, I took his other book starter for ten and LOVED it as well. Xxx
I'm currently reading this and really enjoying it :) apparently david nicholls' other book is also good xxx
I picked this up at the station t'other day before my epic 6 hour train ride home. Really enjoying it so far!

I agree hun, I hate it when they ruin books in the adaptation to film!!
I sit there getting more annoyed, telling the screen 'thats not right!!' lol
