Hi all, My name is Lula, i am so new to this!!!! I am a girlfiend of an Army lad and we have been together for almost two years. We hope to get engaged soon. I am 27 and i have two close friends from the camp near my home city. I am hoping to find some more girls to support me through my first tour with him being gone to Afghan. He has been gone 3 months and 23 days. I am so lonely and i have never experienced the worry and ups and downs of havin the love of my life in a war zone. Im scared, i feel alone through this. I am just sitting and waiting for him to return for RNR in two weeks i am exstatic, i cant explain. I would love to make some new friends on here as i think it is important to be with people who share the same experiences.

Hi hun im caz, its been very quiet on here over the last few days, i think its eirther coz a few of the girls OHs are home on r an r? or the floods? anyway my hubby is in iraq aswell, hes home on r an r on fri wooohoooooo, just hope ther weather doesnt affect his flight???? Its the first time hes been away since weve been married (18months) and it was so hard at first, but now im ok, i havnt really got any friends, just a few nieghbours, its really quiet here and everyone keeps themselvs to themselvs...so thank god for this site, dont no what id do without it?
You will get so much surport on here, everyone is in the same boat and no just how ur feeling, i think if u put a thread in general chat you will get more replies, everyone seems to go there first lol, anyway im off to put all my eletrical stuff upstairs just incase the floods reach me, im in abingdon, (oxford) and iv just seen on the news that the themes is due to flood even more here, and my hubby has had a email in iraq to tell him to ring me and make sure im ready incase i hav to be evacuated!!!!!!!!

my oh is in afghan aswel hes just gone back after r&r. These lot are fab they really helped me through my first 3months and everyone will be pleased to help you through anything=] They are all really supportive so just let us know if you need help =]
