Hi everyone,

My DH is in the RAF and posted at Brize Norton/Cirencester some days of the week! Been living down here since January and only just been housed.. was living in the mess for six months! Anyone else had any issues?

Hiya!!

My hubby is also RAF, he's posted to Lossie at the moment so we're up in the north of scotland, a slight shock after being at Lyneham!b Only moved in January too :D

I am DREADING his next posting as it will more than likely be to Brize and I am so worried about the housing down there, I don't want to be miles away from camp and not be able to get involved in stuff because we can't afford 2 cars at the mo!

I know people who've been housed all over the shop, it's just so utterly ridiculous and badly thought through...what a surprise!! :p ;)

Housing is ab issue right across Oxfordshire, and Brize is no exception. With Lyneham moving across and the redevelopment of some of the patch, it's made it a bit of a nightmare there!

i live in brize and we didnt have a problem getting a house at all. My oh is actually based at lyneham but we have been housed here to save us moving twice in less than a year. Where about in Bzz do you live??
I know someone who has been posted over from Lyneham had a bit of a drama getting her quarter so i think its a bit hit and miss x
