So who's from the dishforth area?
Recently moved in, not MQ'S decided to rent for the time being atleast
This will be our first house together andd first baby so lots of exciting things going on

Just wondered who's near by? OH will be in work all day and i cant drive so thats me stuffed lol xx

not 100% sure of the area but might be worth investigating the public transport... nothing worse than being stuck at home all the time :(

Very exciting times for you I'm sure - new house and new baby! Congratulations!!

I live in Dishforth...well I have MQ's at Dishforth but currently weekly commuting as I still work in London during the week. I really like the area - you have Harrogate and York not far away as well as the lovely Yorkshire Dales to walk in. Boroughbridge (nearest village) is really quaint with lovely little shops so I hope you're happy here.

There is a bus service that goes from Dishforth to most of the surrounding towns - Boroughbridge, Ripon etc and you can even get it to York. Not sure how far you live from the bus stop but maybe worth looking into. Hope you settle in quickly! x x
