I have been putting a list of present ideas together for lee over the last few months, as he says something he wants I write it down. However I just looked back at the list and there is nothing I could get him as a main present as such. Most things are small fun things or stocking fillers etc.
We always seem to get a main present like he got me a white gold necklace and then a white gold bracelet and then a ring etc. I have bought him a gold chain already before and got him a ring last year so I am stuck.
Any ideas? I guess budget approx £100 max Xx
Hun I have no ideas either for Jason.
Jasons birthday is on saturday and he has got the Monster Beats headphones by Dr Dre and so for xmas he won't be getting a main present.

Gift experiences are good just mske sure its something he will want because of my past experience for Jadons birthday if we remember haha x
I like watch idea however Lee already has a couple of rolex watches worth thousands and wouldnt be interested in anything I could buy him, he is well fussy about having a nice watch. So I can't do that :rolleyes:
Gift experience I thought about but I did that for his birthday and as he gets deployed a few days after xmas there no time to do it either xx
How about a present for you both!! A show and dinner and hotel? Puck that up on last minute??? Book or jut before Xmas or for when he is home?
Or tickets to a gig or show for when he's home? Does he have any hobbies? Or perhaps you could start up a subtle conversation like "if you had £100 to spend on yourself, what would you buy?" - if he's anything like my OH he won't even register it's a coded Xmas present question!!

I like the idea of a show or tickets for something. He really wants to see tinie tempah but he not got a tour at the mo and he loves rhianna but all the dates this month and early next year we can't make.
We went to the theatre for my birthday to see Legally Blonde only a few months ago, not even that. I would quite like to go out aonewhere before he goes away as when he is away we miss his bday, valentines and anniversary so would be nice for me to take him out before for his bday at least and make it a Xmas and birthday present.
So I live not too far from London, would drive in or not far from brigthon, Portsmouth and Southampton so any idea of anywhere good to take him? Show or concert? And then good place for a meal or something? Xxx
I can definitely recommend Shrek the musical!!!! We went to see it when we were in London and it's brilliant!
Other than that seeing as he's deploying shortly after xmas, why not just give yourself to him as the main present and wrap yourself up in something like this:

We have been to see Shrek the musical and it was amazing, also seen Oliver, We will rock you and legally blonde.
Any other shows that are really good. If not may look at IMAX (if anything on) and nice meal, night out and hotel or something hmmmm xx

I had the same problem with my OH, I'd got him loads of small bits but no 'main' present & there's literally nothing big I can get him. So I've just ordered 2 tickets for Cirque De Soleil (?) in Manchester and going to book a hotel and then go out clubbing after it... bit of a selfish present really! x
Wicked is my favourite show, and we went to see a play this year called The Woman in Black, it was awesome, if you like scary films go see it (tickets are only about £20 ish) it's really freaky which is unusual for a play I think!
I haven't bought OH a 'big' thing in a while, last big thing I think was his sat nav and that was ages ago, this year he wants some North Face tops and Helly Hanson [sp] running gear so just getting him that and the usual books, shaving gear etc! xx

Does he have a suit? Because a fun pair of cufflinks would be around 100.
He does have a suit and I considered some nice cuff links but he rarely wears it, as in once a year or so. So tbh I don't think there is much point.
I have found a few middle range items as such lol like a nice top he wants which costs a fair bit so I am thinking I will do a few things like that instead. I think we have agreed to go out to see a film on Christmas eve in the afternoon and for a meal between christmas and new year to celebrate his birthday early so not sure we have much time for going out other times.
I love idea of cirque du soleil and the waiting so may see if it is available some time when he gets back and I will get tickets and a hotel for then as a nice surprise.
