New to the game of being a Navy Wag as well as new to the site!

Hi everyone, I feel like a bit of a fraudster joining after reading all the stories on the Army Wags forum as well as here, you've all been through so much. I only met my sailor a few months ago, so not been through much yet. But then I think of the start of other relationships and how important those first few weeks and months have been before, and how tough this has been in comparison. The "getting to know you" phase usually involves seeing loads of the new guy etc, however between time at sea, days on duty, pre arranged commitments etc it's been hard! I find it really hard being away from him, and reading some of ur experiences has really helped. Don't want my 1st post to be too epic so will stop there for now. Take care, Love Flick xXxXx

I'm Lee & a Navywag too. I've been with Gav for amost 5yrs, 3 of which he's been in the Navy. i'm 26 & we've got 2 sons. Ieaun, 2 & Iestyn, 1. Gav's out in the Falklands at the mo for 6mths, not back till Xmas.

hiya chick iam a ex army wag but iam half way to bein back lol well i know how u feel i got with my ex a month before he went to afghan so it was hard on gettin to know him but i still loved him coz we were friends before we got together. Thanks for the replies girls, all my friends have headed back off around the country now to all their different Universities so I'm probably going to be on here more now. I also start back at Uni on Monday so I hope all the work comes as a welcome distraction too. My man has got some leave next week so that be good, well if my Uni timetable is even remotely nice anyway, choose my modules tomorrow then I can work out my timetable. Hope everyone is ok. xXxXx
