Hubbi is based down at Blandford but we own our own home so I stay up in South Yorkshire during the week and he normally comes home most weekends when he is here!!!
He is in the Royal Signals (BSST)

hi my hubby goin on op herrick 7 on 14th october, hes in yorkshire regiment, formaly the green howards, we are based in weeton just outside blackpool!! im dreading it, luckily our kids are young enough to be able to tell them daddy is going on a plane and thy know no different!! hope everyone is coping ok??

i am coping ok jsut about.... but have had my mum staying over the last 2 weeks but she went back today so will report back in a few days after being on my own ..... i am generally fine until he calls me then i just break down in tears as soon as i hear his voice.... am still waiting for my letter he said he posted over a week ago... i just wish they could keep in touch a bit more often

Hi everyone im new and my name is liane. My husband has been gone for 3 weeks now on op herrick 7 and it is so hard, i think some of the girls on here have other halfs in same regt a yorkshire regt in weeton. This is our first tour for a while and im finding it hard i have a brilliant husband and he is a huge space to fill while away, We dont live together , im at the other end of the country almost not far from where the Yorkshire Regt just left. hope to talk to someone soon its good to talk to people who know what it is like and i think it is easier when you dont know people, no worries of gossiping wives :) im glad sites like these are around wish theyd been about a few years ago mabe i wouldnt have found our other tours quite so hard.
