View Full Version : Hello,i'm first time Navy Girlfriend.

Hello

I must admit i am a tad nervous wrighting this. I am brand new to this site and also to being the girlfriend of some one in the forces. My boyfriend is in the navy and we have been together for about 7 months now. I am used to being away from him for two weeks at a time because he was based on cauld rose and i live in shropshire but last week he joined hms illustrious and its the first time he will be away for so long and also the first time that we wont be able to speak every single night. Hes my boyfriend and my best friend and i feel so sad with out him. I feel a bit over dramatic compared to what the other girls on this site have written about and he will only be away for about 6 weeks till i see him again. Any way i have written loads. None of my friends understand at all . Any way the point was i would really like some that understand. Take care xxx Lolly xxx

awww huni, i know how u feel, my hubbys in one of the mil bands and he went away to germany @ the end of germany for 6 weeks, its the longest we'd ever spent apart ( weve been together 18 months now ) and i hated every minute of it as we also cud talk every nite but that was because it was to expensive x.
all the girl on her can sympotise as we all go thru it @ one time or another, theres no need to feel over dramatic, we are all in the same boat ( no pun intended ) no matter where our O/H are x
if u dnt mind me askin how old are u my love?

awww just a little younger than me, i turned 20 in march this year x i know it can be hard wen they are away but im sure as time goes on it will get slightly easier x we'l help on here, they are a right laugh on here and their is normally always someone around to lend a listening ear if u want to have a rant or well for any reason lol, x so get stuck in, we dnt bite ( unless u want us to lol )
