Hey there everyone, my bf is in his first deployment, for 7 months, finding it hard already and he has only been away for 3 days, im used to not seeing him when he is down in portsmouth, but i can still tlk to him, but i hate not jstu being able to hear his voice, its hard. xxx

Hi hun welcome to wags! The girls on here are all great and will help you through the tour. I know its hard, but try to keep yourself busy with things to keep your mind occupied while hes away. Set goal for yourself for when he returns.

Write to him lots and send him lots of fun parcels, the girls on here have ltos of experience in what to put in them and im sure if you get stuck will help you with ideas!

hey laura and welcome to wags. :) my hubby is coming to the end of his first tour and i won't lie, at times it's been a nightmare but once you get into a routine things are a little easier. i have found it a lot easier since i started coming on here and chatting to the girls. so just get chatting.:)

I'm Lee & a Navywag like yourself. My OH Gav is an AET & is coming to the end of his first deployment. He's been in the Falklands since June & will be home in December. We've been together almost 5yrs, engaged for 2 & have 2 boys together.

This first deployment has been really up & down for me but the girls on here have really helped me through & I don't know what I would have done without their support.

Its my bf's 1st deployment 2 (well 1st while we hav been together) and i know exactly how ur feeling. He's only been gone 4 days n it already feels like forever. Hope its not going 2 b this hard 4 the whole 7 months.
Just try n think how good it will be when he's back, it helps a little bit
