Hi ya

Im 32, from Birmingham Well i have been seeing Michael a very short time, we have been apart longer than we have been together so i was a bit unsure whether or not to register on this site because of it.

Michael is a Submariner in the Navy based in Plymouth and Faslane and is away at sea at the moment training, he is away for 5 weeks. Before he left he told me he was meant to be surfacing for a few hours today but so far it hasnt happened so im a bit down. Its hard because I am unable to contact him. My own fault really I shouldnt of got my hopes up.

Luckily im busy at work well trying to keep busy. I have never dated anybody in the forces before so finding it a bit hard, but want to overcome this as he is such a lovely guy.

Hi there girls! Well I got my hopes up for no reason, things must of changed and he didnt surface yesterday like he thought he would. Im on a bit of a downer but i love seeing clarvoyants and had a nice positive reading yest so im happy, kind of lifts your spirits when your down

Ohh hun sorry
Its so rubbish when that happens, I've learnt now wen ur bloke says things like that no to pay attention, if it happens then woohoo. Have been dissapointed too many time by his work, also never count on the dates their given for coming home. Lees have changed twice n he's only bin gone a week & half.
Always assume that things will change & then you don't get as dissapointed.

Hey Hel,

Communications are pretty crap with the Navy in general with them being at sea, but its even worse with Subs.

Gav is on HMS Southampton at the mo & don't hear from him much. He's really bad at writing so have only had 4 postcards from him.

Michael got in touch today, they surfaced for a bit. Not sure if they have left now cause there was a prob with the boat. He is away for another 3 weeks now.

Im just glad to of heard off him. He is based on the HMS Torbay usually but is on loan to another boat at the moment.

Its a whole new world isnt it! been with ant for a yr now and hes on a 6 mont trip. Ive never been w anyone in the forces before so its been a hard learning curve. you have good days and down days. Message me anytime hun as I am so in the same boat (so to speak!)
