hello wags i'm new to this! i've just come across this website and it is brilliant. such a relief to see other people in the same position and that we all have something in common!
my fiance has been in the army for 3 years now and it is so tough, especially when you have 2 kids as well. i just wanted some advice really about army barracks as im thinking of moving onto one so i can be with him more. it's been such a hard decision to make. but it has been so stressful with not seeing him and also it does affect your relationship as i expect quite a few of you know! if anyone can help me i would be so grateful and also looking forward to making new friends as i get so lonely sometimes. thank u wags!

hi kate thanx for replying! my man is in the rlc based up in cirencester. im thinking of moving up there as i miss him sooooo much. we have talked about it before but i have always been unsure because of the kids. but then again it's happiness at the end of the day and i hate feeling lonely. do u live on an army barracks then as u said u were married? how long is ur husband away for?

nope hun we live out of camp still in mod housing but just not on camp! Were not too far from there really, bout 20 mins from swindon were we live! Hes been away 9 weeks 16 sleeps until rnr but he aint bk for good until march hes out in afghan and I so cant wait for him to come home! What reg is your oh? xxxxxx

he is in 29 regt. he has only been up there since october last year. the thing is he might leave in a few years, but i can't wait 2 yrs living like we r now. plus it does have good points moving in together because i suppose you get to travel and see different countries and things!
