Hi ya, well my o/h is home to christmas today. Goes back to Glasgow on 28th December so not around for new year.
I havent spoken to him for the past two days as I was working in London on Wed and the only time he was free to talk I was stuck on a train in the quiet zone and yesterday he had to stay in the boat until midnight and then handover his watch.
Its a hard one getting used to him being away but I also enjoy my me time

when he's done with his training he'll be a combat medic
My o/h is a submariner been in the navy for ten years, can either leave in another two when he is 30 or stay the hole hog till he is 40. We have only been together two months so its strange getting used to being with somebody who isnt around all the time

i've been with my o/h for almost 5 years, hes been in army just over a yr was in t.a for 18mnth b4 hand... im 21 and he's 20 in a month... whene we first got together we could only see each other one nighta week for a few hours.. we lived quite far apart and both had school n stuff, then we started spending the weekends at each others house and finally goit our own place this yr in may:D
aw, i know what you're going through. i've been with my guy now for almost a year. He's been in the army for 8 years and has been based in Germany for 6, so i had to get used to it right from the start too. it's very hard to get used to it, to be honest i'm sure sure i ever will, but the main thing is that we love each other and i'll be here waiting for him no matter how long we have to spend apart.and i'm sure all the girls on here will be there for you when you need them. i haven't been on here for very long, but i've seen so much support from everyone on here!! xxx
