Hiya everyone, have been readng this site for a few days now but this is first time posting. Looking forward to chatting to other people who understand what im going through whil oh is away!!!

awww thanks hun, just be nice to talk to people, who understand and dont mind me having a moan every now n then lol!!!! Have kinda got used to my oh bein away but still have my down days where i find it hard to cope. Xmas will be a nightmare!!!

yeh its our first xmas too. He's out in Iraq til end ov jan. hes in RA. Im lucky that i have contact with him nearly every day tho, i know a lot don't. Just cant wait for him to get home!!!! What does ur oh do n where is he?
He's in Cyrpus in the RLC, not gna see him til Feb which is a bit crappy but life goes on! I speak to him everyday too so I know i'm verrrrrry lucky, preparing for the Afghan tour when he gets bak so things will definately change then x Anyway chicky if u ever need anything these girls defo can give you a hand x full of love support and admiration for everyone on here! x

Thanks everyone, I was having a real low day yesterday, one of those hide under ur duvet days where kept sobbing uncontrollably for no apparent reason, anything started me off and it was so nice to sit n read everyones welcoming messages. My OH has phoned since then tho and feeling much more positive - only about 9 weeks to go until hes home!!!!
Nine weeks will fly huni I promise it will go so so quick I thought that in the beginning best just to try and keep really busy!!! xxxxxxxxxx

Yea I do try, have had a major clear out at home and gonna start re-decorating soon, he wont recognise the place by the time he gets home lol! Plus between college and my daughter im kept pretty busy, its just the evenings after shes gone to bed that are hard xx

I find the night time that worst to so I just come on here an talk to all these lovely ladies an it really does make it easier lol
I started to redecorate too but its not helpin I wish Id never started now :D but I have been counting the days for ages thou too that doesnt help either lol

Yea i know what u mean, it was very satisfying chuckin out all my old junk etc. but kinda dreadin the decorating part already n havent even started yet!! Have already promised my daughter a beautiful new bedroom tho so i guess i'v just gotta get stuck in! U all seem like a great bunch ov ppl n its certainly brightened the last cpl ov evenings since i found this site! xx
we are lovely lol my oh is back on the 18th an thats 8 weeks away so its pretty much the same for you hun . I have started to do the bathroom an I wish I never lol I hate hangin wallpaper its a pain lol

yea just the one at the mo, shes just turned 8. I've got her bedroom to do n then gonna try n tackle mine, then when he gets home we gonna go out n buy a new bed to christen lol!!!! xx

hes in the Princess of Wales royal reg an when he is finished in Kosovo he will fly to Cyprus an stay there for 2 years
