*waves* Hi everyone.Im Amy and my very lovely other half is a Firefighter in the RAF who is affectionately known as Mr C! He was based out in Cyprus when we met,its not a rudie nickname! lol Ive found my way here for gossip and giggle when Mr C is away and i get lonely.Looking forward to getting to know you all and hopefully making some new friends.x x x

WELCOME TO WAGSI'm Kate the baby moderator of the site, any problems and just PM me. All the Girlies are all great on here, we have alot of girls with guys on tour in Iraq and Afghanistan at the moment, My OH goes to Iraq next week for 4-6 months so we all know what you are going through with the seperation etc.
There are chat nights on every wednesday and Sunday starting at 8pm in the chatroom, its always a giggle and on many many occasion turns rude! But gives us a good chance to all talk in real time, even if there are 100 convos going on at once.
I see you're from cardiff...Im at uni in wales but when not being a student i live in Fishguard...if you've heard of it?

Hi ladies,nice to make your acquatance!!! Mr C is currently on at Brize so at the moment the separation isnt too bad.He is however off to Afghan in June/July so that will be a pants time!!! But my job keeps me busy and iv got fab friends but it will be lovely to have support from people in the same situation! x x x Kate-Marie,i have no idea where Fishguard is but then im new to Wales!!! x x

When Mr C goes to Afghan we'll help you through it. I joined the forum in May..and this will be my first tour with the site...and tbh I didnt realise how much of a family we have become until this tour came about.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Had a bimble round the site and it looks fab,really friendly unlike some of the other scarey sites i have looked at!!! While im not into being namblie-pambie about things i dont believe a pull yourself together attitude helps either! I used to date a soldier a few years ago so know what the military is like but it seems different with Mr C! x x x
