View Full Version : hey guys!
Hiya, my name is Annie, I joined this site a while ago, but was too chicken to introduce myself! lol! u guys all seem great and so supportive of one another... it is comforting to hear about people with similar situations and problems as you..especially when none of your friends have bf in the forces! I have been with my OH for nearly 4 years now, and in sept 07 he started his RAF officer training at Cranwell. He left this morning to go back, after 2 wks leave. But he gets a week off in 5 weeks time so its not too bad. Reading some of your threads and hearing that your men are away for months seems unimaginable, but much respect for you for staying so strong, I feel like I shouldnt moan when oh goes away for a few weeks! anyway just wanted to say hi, and hopefully get to chat to you all v.soon! xxx:D
Welcome Annie. This site really is great everyone on here is so lovely and so supportive. I'm Emma, I've been with Ben for just over a year and we're getting married in Aug this yr, cant wait. And you have plently of right to moan, it doesn't matter how long your man is away for we all still miss them just as bad. Ben is based in Germany, so dont really get to see him much, unless i go over there or he comes home for leave or just a weekend. but the girls on here really do help. I look forward to chatting with ya hun. x x x

Hi thanks for your replies, im not too bad but you know what its like, you get so used to your oh being around then they have to go again! Im just getting ready to go back to uni tomorrow, which im not looking forward to... i got so much work to do and exams in 2 weeks time:eek: I can see myself spending too much time on this site as way of procrastinating from exam revisions!!
Nadine is ur bf doing his training at Cranwell in march?
halton first, for 9weeks then its cranwell for the remainder time.did your oh just go to cranwell only?
yep, if he passes he will finish at the end of april (looking forward to the graduation ball)... and then i guess he will then get posted anywhere, which is a bit scary! I fink he is doing 30 wks training altogether, and every 10wks they have a week off plus 2 wks at xmas. They get wkends off sometimes if there is nothing to do, but because I live right down south and he is in lincolnshire he cant come back too often, and I dont have a car either! but we manage!:)
