Hi all im new how is evryone? :)
hi hun welcome to wags, im one of the moderators and the others are rachel and kate-marie. my other half has just come back from afghan.
tell us a bit about you and your other half :)
My hubby is 20 he is a LCPL in the royal signals and we got married in october:). My hubby is based in Germany so i moved over after we got married and i have been here since November i have no mates here yet so it gets realy lonely sometimes :(
congrats on the marriage, i can see that it must get lonely out there when you havent managed to make friends yet, are there any wives clubs or does your man have any married mates you could meet the wives of? do you work, i know a few of the other girls have said its hard to get work sometimes. you will make loads of friends on here, it can get addictive lol but alos importent to get some friends in germany as well.
oh by the way your profile says your from ' hermany' so you may want to change that unless youve invented a whole new counrty lol :D
:D yeah i noticed after my 1st post i put Hermany it was the 1st time i laughed this week :D i am looking for work and im waiting for a app form from the local base for admin work my hubbys mates are all rarther immature considering they are in the Army:rolleyes: and none of them are married, they are more into going clubbing and pulling as many girls as they can so its hard to get pally with anyone here realy:confused:
mmmm that sounds difficult then, is there a 'hive' or a community centre? they usually have social occasions and are a good place to meet people, maybe post a thread in general chat to ask if anyone is in your area, you never know your next door neighbour may be on here lol.
have you tried inviting your neighbours round for a brew? or throw a house warming party and invite all your neighbours?

we did have a house warming but no body turned up :( im in a block of 6 flats and dont realy no the neighbours they tend to keep hidden i speak to the girl in the bottom flat and none of the neighbours have spoke to her either. There is a hive but i have only been on base 3/4 times and i dont no my way round im quite shy so i prefer no to just walk in alone but im hoping to get in the local horse riding club soon iv been ringing them this week but had no answer yet sure ill meet people there;)

she isnt interested in goin the hive she has lived here all her life so she has plenty of friends :rolleyes: im usualy fine but iv been on my own since sunday and its started getting me down :( i dont know how the womwn whos men are on tour cope its only been a few days for me and im already missing him so much:confused:

My OH went to Iraqistan last week, hes a CPL in the signals :D somthing your hub will be soon! CONGRATS on the marriage... hows married life? Im getting married to my mr on may 30th next year...!! exciting!
Im currently a student in leeds studying youth work.. so when you get having kids and they turn into teens if they r troublesome send em to me lol, need some kids to pay me wages lol.

Welcome to WaGs! My Hubby is a Cpl in the Sigs, based in Sennelager, and I'll be out there soon (stupid housing people permitting!). Sorry to hear things aren't going too smoothly at the moment out there for you, hope they all work out soon, get posting on here tho, and the girls will all support you as much as they can. chat soon xx
Hey, hun. Welome to WAGS!!! Where abouts in Germany do you live??? I'm getting married this year and will be moving to Germany. My OH is based in Gutersloh!!!! It must be hard for you hun, but i'm sure things will work themselves out. I tend to make friends in the strangest of places, i can be shy too around new ppl, so can kinda relate to what ur going through. i've got it all to come later this year!!

:) Hi Emma i am in Herford its 30 mins from Gütersloh its a lovely country here and the housing is good too we will have to meet up when you get here and go shopping maybe :D some nice clothes out here but a lot of them are a size 6 or 4 the German girls are so skinny!:eek: they need a good meal i think:D

I'm defo up for meeting up. Not sure i'd fit into size 4-6 clothes though!!! lol
I heard the housing was good, i went to my OH's mates house and it was really nice. the kitchen was small, but i dont cook much anyway.
