Hi Linda i'm Lyndsey and i live in Germany with my husband Paul, we have a 6yr daughter Abigail and a crazy border collie Harry, We've been married 7 1/2 yrs. This is our now our 5th posting in the 7yrs we've been married, paul has only got 5yrs left in the army.
What regt is your soon to be hubby in?

Hi there to all.

Well i get married in 7 days and move to lichfield which is exciting but scary to as i dont know anyone. Has anyone got any advice to prepare me for army life. I have been with my partner for nearley 5 years, so i know a bit, but not what its like living within an army community. all advice welcome
hiya linda!we're n the same boat,my fiance is part time in the terrortial army and is joinin up full time at the minute.we will b movin frm northern ireland 2 england n august.army life will all b new 2 me as well and i havent a clue wot to expect or how im goin to cope wen we hav 2 b apart!we are gettin married b4 we move so i hav all that to plan bt its only goin 2 b small so im hopin it wnt b 2 bad!lol!so,ur gettin married ne day nw?!id love 2 hear all about it!where abouts n england is linchfield?we r movin 2 a place called turnhill.ne ideas where it is or wot its like?love 2 hear bak from u soon,i know u'll b busy gettin married,hav a lovely day!x
