wow you guys are really having a rough time with the tours aren't you? :mad: I hope he is ok over there in Iraq!! The Blackwatch were in Fally when we were there. Were you in Fally? I worked in the main NAAFI for a while and then worked in Heide School as a teaching assistant with the Year 5 kids - I loved it!! Oh yeah before that I took over running the Wild Boar and I had a girl from the Black Watch working for me!! Kirsten was her name forgot her surname she has split up with her hubby and is back living with her family in Inverness.

I see you are a Civil Servant!!! What do you do? I am living in Southern Spain in a village called Alhaurin el Grande. Been here for 2 and half years now! Not a bad life at all. Gets really hot in the summer as we live in the mountains we made it to 51 degrees last year - too hot to do anything!!:cool: The down side is the kids get 10 weeks:eek: school holidays in the summer cos of the heat!! Keeping them occupied can be murder!

Hi Anna,

Yes the Blackwatch seem to get shafted on the old Tours, however Lee is a well seasoned member of the Blackwatch 18 yrs to be accurate 12 years of it with me, he can pretty much take anything, and being an army brat myself not much phases me anymore!

I worked in the SSO's office with Caz Gotham whilst in Fally what a laugh, you would have known Denise Thomas she worked at Heide. Stop boasting about Spain, scotland is wet and freezing just now!:mad:

I work for the Royal Navy here in Rosyth, I am the Accommodation Booking Manager(sounds better that what it is). Hey Ho it's a job and pays the mortgage.:D
