hey, I have only just stumbled across this site and hopefuly you can help. My oh has just been sent away on his first tour really miss him already. I dont no many people in my area and it would be nice to talk to people who are in the same situation

i no where you mean, my brother in law is supposed to be going on a ship to oman in a few weeks but it might get cancelled cause the crew havent passed their test lol x

he said a few weeks ago that it might not be going but last night he said its def going something bout a different ship...........it changes everyday though!! i hoping that the crew on any ship dont pass lol!!
here is too hoping they fail we dont need anymore partners going away x
hi sara i just got off phone from oh n he is def not going now his passport hasnt got six months on it so they wont let him go........i tried to sound disappointed for him but jumped up n down on the sofa whne i got off the phone!! lol!! bless him he really wanted to go!! couple of his friends have been pulled off too, he didn't know why, sounds like its all going tits up, so ya brother in law might not end up going...if it was same ship!! x x x

yeah he is off in basarah at the mo its just sinking in that he is away i keep expecting him to come through the door lol. so what does your oh do x
he works with harrier jets for the navy!! he is off to afghan later this year...not sure on dates n length of time yet......i might just be thick afghan is land locked so why the hell the navy are out there god knows! when is ya oh back?? x x:o
that is quite strange sending him there how long has he been in the navy? He is away 6 and half months not sure wen his rnr is he put in for aug for my bday but thats a long time to b out there with no break x
he has been in about 8years and is signed up till his 39th birthday! that will be nice if he gets his rnr in aug!! kris is back this friday not seen him for a few weeks he has moved camp n i work funny hours as a nurse so its difficult!! i cant wait to see him now! x x
that will be reys get really nice for u to c him ive just off the phone with rob, i always get sad after ive spoken to him mainly cause he aint happy out there and theres nothing you can do x

Hi there I am new to this and I am absolutely full of nerves. Am I in the right area? I am dating a guy in the RAF and he is away and I miss him like crazy. I hope I am or I have made a complete fool of myself:confused:
