Hi all. ive just joined this second. My partner is in Afghan has been there for a week. Im sort of getting used to it but my godness isn't it hard. My friends have been amazing but as everyone will say and what i find best is to keep yourself occupied evan if it is just sending your loved ones silly e-mails at night time lol.

hi im caroline nice to meet both of you although my oh is not on tour he is in germany and me and the kids dont get to see him much and he also finished a 6 month tour in iraq at the end of last sep {which seems a life time ago now} as everyone else says just keep yourself busy write loadsa letters even if most of them are repedative the way most of mine were lol and shopping and collecting things to send away in parcels will also make time go by a bit quicker.xx

Its hard copin wit ur oh bein away, but u do learn to deal with it and come up with all sorts ov things to keep urself busy and before u know it they're home!

Hi Michelle, i'm Nicola, 26 and married to Cal who's also in Afghan. Cal left in Oct for his tour and is coming back in 2 weeks time. I had to wait 4 months for his r n r when he only got a week. It will seem like forever now honey but I promise if will come round ok. Try and keep yourself busy and plan stuff for weekends ok. If you need to chat just pm me ok xx
