Hi, Just found this website and glad I have been with my OH just under 2 years and hes just gone on his jungle training for 6 weeks so feeling a bit lonely! So hey everyone *waves to you all :D*

Heyy, That was a quick reply :) My name is Paula and I am 21 my OH eft yesterday to go to Belize for 6 weeks, not really been away from each other this long as he has been lucky enough not to go away yet though im sure the time will come, we also see each other near enough every weekend so we have had it pretty cushty! Hes based in Ripon which is a 2hr drive from me but will be moving to Northern Ireland in July so not looking forward to that one but i am sure we will manage it!
Anyway Im sure I will be frequenting on here a lot in the next 6 weeks!:p
Im sure you will get through the next 6 weeks no problem, like you said just keep comimg on here and pass the time! Are you married then??
Since Ive been with Lee he has been to Afghan 3times and Canada twice but I just muggle throw and get on with it LOL
Awww mines called Lee too! not married, one day maybe :P. Just trying to save for a house at the mo but getting him to save is a job in itself typical gadgety bloke! *rolls eyes*
It isn't too bad as I have heard from him today he was in Washington and was getting fed up cos it was just taking ages to get to Belize. I know I wont here from him too much as he will be in the thick of the jungle so any message I get is a bonus really as I am not expecting them :)
Hi welcome to wags, this site is great! everyone is int he same boat! My OH was in Ireland for 2 years but has recently gone over to Cyprus, fligthsa are cheap to go over there or for him to come back and it's only 45 mins so he can come back for weeekends too so try not to worry toomuch about that. xx

welcome to wags hun...your def in the right place as all the girls here know exactly how you feel.
My oh was in Belize for his training last September and it went in quite quick. Its difficult not hearing from them at first but he'll try as often as he can. Tell him to write you a bluey - I got one from belize while oh was in the jungle...really cheered me up as I wasn't expecting it!

aww thanks you're all so welcoming. Once I found out about him going to Northern Ireland I had a look at the prices of flights n was pleasantly surprise and also I love flying so thats always a bonus, Lee laughs at me because everytime we go passed an airport I just stare gormlessly into the sky, think i am a closet plane spotter haha! Plus its nice going somewhere different instead of the same old, went to stay near where hes based Friday night and it was great to get away from here and have some time to ourselves.
Think the thing thats made him going away more difficult is that hes just had 2 1/2 weeks off over easter which was lovely and i had just got used to him being here!
