hi everyone!! my name is katie-Louise and engaged to a soldier who is in the queens royal hussars and is based in germay, he is currently in canada and wont come home untill the end of july:(

thank you 4 all been so nice.. my oh is in calgary this will be the longest time i have been away from him..im doing ok so far :) i dont let him no ow i feel cuz he doesnt like been away from me! i live in birmingham and my oh is based in germany he travels home 11 hours most weekends.... how is everyone else??:)

thats where my hubbi is Med Hat in Calgary! Its not too bad him been there I get to talk to him via webcam!

Welcome Katie and Welcome Emma!!! My oh is also based in Germany, he is off to Canada on Monday for 3 months!! It is difficult, but like all the girls on here will tell you, get yourself into a routine and time will fly by!!! Try to plan something nice for both of you for when he comes home and i set myself little goals to achieve whilst he's away. This time it's to get fit!!! xxx

Haha, there seems to be a fair few of us with oh's in germany going to canada!!! I havent heard from my oh since sat, so i'm feeling a bit poo, plus its my time of the month and i've got a cold, apart from that i am dandy!!! so how long is he gone for?? 3 months??? it sucks when they have to leave :(
ye he has gone for 3 months, he just phoned he is getting on the plane :(
it is horrible when they have to go! im a bit dwn today aswell its actually hit he isnt cumin bk and i have a cold.lol :mad:missing my gorgeous soldier xx
Aw, i know how ur feeling, my oh is going for 3 months too, he's in germany, due to go canada in a few days. and i've got a cold too, not feeling too good. but we're allowed our down days. We can count down together if you like, i'm sure we can make 3 months fly by!!xxx

My oh is based in Gutersloh. I think the past week has flown by, wooohooo!! I still havent heard from my oh, think he's got a problem with his phone. But yeh Canada is nice, he's been there before and i've got a mate from there!! shame we cant fly out and join them, haha. Where is ur oh based??
he is based in sennelarger by paderborn... its gone quite quick but its been a crap week 4 me iv bin ill and had a funerla thn my oh has gone soo.lol not to good....opefully it will go quicker no im better xx :)
