Not alot to say really, married to a Captain in Scots DG since September 2005, currentley living in our own flat in London so do not have much to do with pad life at the moment which is all rather odd as tend to forget he is even in the army at times! That will all change in a year or so!

I was married to a Scots DG for 11 years. We were in Fally for 7 of those. Totally loved it there. Where abouts in London are you? I lived there for 3 years - I was in North London, Camden then bought in Tottenham! So you will be joining the Regiment in a couple of years will you? You will love Germany. Have you been married long? I am very nosey I know:o

My husband is at Horseguards, he'll be there another year or so, we live in a very small flat in Battersea. Totally unimpressed when he came back from Falli with 8 MFO boxes saying everything was vital, needless to say if our car is ever stolen they are going to find some strange stuff when they open the boot!
He went back to Iraq the day after our honeymoon so we didn't live together for the first seven or eight months of being married.
We're off to Falli in a few weeks for an ERE weekend which should be fun, have not been out for almost a year since they last came back from Iraq.
Won't be back in Falli to live for about another 4 years I wouldn't have thought, looking forward to it though, it's great fun.

hadn't realised you had been to Fally - how long has your hubby been with the Regiment? My good friend Claude Montgomery is still there with SDG's. My ex-hubby left about 2 years ago. But we left Fally in 2002 - his name was Kenny Thomson (SGT)...maybe your hubby will know him if he has been with the Reg a while.
Battersea is nice.....been down the park a few times as a friend of mine lived over there for a while but not sure where it was. What do you do in London?

I'm sure I've met Kenny Thomson in Falli, it was a few years ago now though.
I met my husband at a party in Falli in 2002, he was in Falli between 2001 and 2006. He was mainly in A Sqn with Jock McElvie (wife is Julie) & Ali Gardener (wife is Anne), also know H, Staff Hanson. Really nice bunch of guys.
Battersea is nice, easy for work, I'm a chartered surveyor currentley worknig for the dread Transport for London, very boring but it's a job and we'll only be in London another year max.

Yeah I know Jock and all those other names that you mentioned. I used to work in Heide School as a teaching assistant. If you had met Kenny you would know - he is has red hair. He ended up in bovy as an instructor. I am convinced Kenny was A Squadron before we left fally!! Yeah i'm sure he was!! :confused: The mind is not what it used to be!!
I am hoping to go back to Fally December next year with the kids. For a holiday to stay with Claude and show the kids around now they are older. I defo will have to visit the Ice-cream parlour.....oh no it shuts in winter!!!:eek:
